A pet trade expert says there are several ways to get a dog or cat into a swap meet and that you can start by getting their collar to the person or place they want to meet them at.

What is a swap meeting?
A swap meet is an event where an exotic pet meets a new home with a person who is looking to trade a pet.
If you want to trade with a pet, it must meet certain requirements, including a collar, a good home, and a lot of money.

It’s important to note that the requirements differ by country and breed.
In Canada, for example, the requirements for a swap are different than the requirements in the United States.
“In Canada, if you’re not a licensed veterinarian or registered pet breeder, you can’t do a swap,” says Dr. Joanna Johnson, an animal health specialist and the president of the Canadian Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
