The latest version of Google’s software suite, which has been plagued by problems since its introduction in 2014, is on the verge of a public beta release.
While the new version has been pushed back to January, Google is still planning to begin a public test of the product in December.
But a handful of Google employees are in the process of getting a hands-on with the new software.
Google will start its public beta of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) on January 15, 2018, according to Google VP and CTO Joe Sullivan.
Sullivan said in a blog post that Google Cloud is a “deep, complex, and difficult platform” that has been designed with many different uses in mind.
The beta will allow employees to use it to build new services, to manage and scale their own resources, to develop new applications, and to manage a variety of data.
Sullivan explained that the beta will be a great place for employees to learn about the platform and for those who are already running existing services to learn more about the new features.
The first release of Google GCP will be available for testing in December, Sullivan wrote.
“This beta test is to help you get to know the new API features, the API design, and the API architecture.
It’s not to be taken as a final version of the platform, but a preview.”
The Google Cloud team will begin the public beta on December 17, but the company will continue to offer the beta for a year, as well as providing updates through Google Drive, Google Docs, and other tools.
The team will release a public version of GCP for a period of time between January 15 and December 17.
Sullivan says Google Cloud will be released on its own, but Google Cloud Standard will also be released in January.
Google Cloud Platform will be the company’s next major product line.
In the years since Google launched the service, Google has been developing an API for the cloud that is optimized for the needs of its users.
The API provides data, storage, and networking services that are more easily accessible to developers and enterprises than the existing cloud APIs.
Google also has an SDK that enables developers to build native applications that run on top of Google APIs.
While Google’s Cloud Platform was the original name for the platform that was later adopted by Google, Sullivan did not provide details on what the API name was.
It was later announced that Google would be releasing its own Cloud API called Google Cloud Dataproc in 2020.
